

Seen Through A WindowThe first thing I noticed, everything was bathed in a deep orange glow from the fireplace on the back wall of the room, the fiery orange reflecting brilliantly from the metallic leading holding the glass of the window in place. Staring in I wished I could feel that warmth; I was only use to the large bonfires, created from rubbish, the little heat and was offset by the intoxicating smell. Directly above the fireplace was a large ornate painting, the figure depicted was probably long since passed, but still cast a protective gaze over the lavish furnishings. In front of the fire stood a couple of large armchairs, high-backed and covered in lSeen Through A Window


DarknessHave you ever wondered what it would be like, if you were the only person left alive? If something happened and you could never know what, if everyone and everything you held dear just ceased to exist? It happened to me once; though to be honest I’m unsure about it, was it real? A sick and twisted joke from some higher being? Hell I guess they need to get their kicks from somewhere. Or maybe it was a twisted illusion created in my even more twisted mind. I keep telling myself it couldn’t have been real, as I look around I can still see everyone I love and everyone I care about surrounding me, but then again, I have no proof saying it diDarkness
